"Who wrote the Murder of Julia Lowell"

In the late 1990s the Copper Queen Hotel had Murder Mystery Weekend. One was co-written by me.It was so popular that the manager and his employees began filling this ghost ledger daily about anything that sounded believable.I guess it worked. In the decade that followed an individual saw the market for ghost in Bisbee, seeing it was happening all over the country. The fade with spirits and or ghost have died down somewhat the zombie craze is taking its place.Don't get me wrong here I believe in spirits and their movements.Nobody was murdered or to my knowledge has died in the Queen. Lets remember now that the Hotel was built by P.D.they were very conservative in their business and leisure time. The Hotel lodged only investors in their Mines or tourist( then a tourist was welcomed breed of traveler) We as host do not give them the respect they deserve.Without them most of are residents would be residing some where else.No local in those days rented a room at the Queen, for any reason.I believe in a few spirit sitings here in Bisbee but I am keeping them to my self.

"The Fair Building is more then fair"

In my opinion the museum in the "Fair Building " is the best attraction Bisbee has to offer.Three floors overwhelmed with memorabilia of those days gone by.From photographs to furniture and anything and everything in between. It would take the average visitor (tourist) about a full day, with a break ,to view its contents.Every tourist town or community has a building that takes care of the history and past lifestyles and progress of the community it resides in.Take nothing away from the B.M.H.M.,they are more into the display of rock and events that had taken place here and on a very brief scale and lets not forget its store.I have had so many visitors approach me for historical conversation and a continuation of what they have gathered while there .Lets face Bisbee we have no historical theatre here.We have so much interesting history. Yes!Mining was why the community was developed and prospered. But there is more to a community then its Industry or purpose. At a latter blog I will write more about Bisbee and its purpose but at the present I am writing about the Fair Building and its museum.IT COST NOTHING TO GET IN!I know Ruth and Dick and the volunteers that keep it alive and soon Ill be a volunteer my self. All you residents  visit the Museum.Discover what the have to offer to our visitors

"Can we put stock into the Stock"

The word is on the street that Patrisha will open the Stock Exchange on or around Valentines Day.Patrisha has put so much money and a great deal oftime into the renovation and restoratoin, regarding the Brewery Building. My self I wish to thank her for saving that building from  demolision .As most of you are aware that I am a historian and archivist.Iam an authrity on that building as well as Mr. J.M.Muhiem.Yes,I am sure he is resting well now that his building is been tacken care of and once again being utilzed.I due hope she plans to have the interior of the saloon  furnished with a historical venue of sorts. There is so much J.M.Muheim built and created in Bisbee. The Muhiem Heritage House has tacken a back seat as far as history is concerned these days.I am sad to know that the house has been abuse and molested.I amm looking forward to libating at tha Stock.
